Nice place to take clients to lunch
"In the interest of full disclosure, I know the owners. That said, this is a very nice place for lunch downtown. If you want a sit-down meal rather than something to take back to your desk, it can't be beat. They have very good sandwiches and soups. The burgers and steaks are quite good also. One of the owners works the dining room during the lunch hour and you can always expect a joke and a real concern that you are happy with your experience. If you're not satisfied, they will do their best to see that you are. It's also a great place to have a drink after work. Normally after the 2nd time you visit, they remember what you drink. That's a hard thing to find anymore. The bottom line is they really make you feel welcome."

Absolutely great bar
"I had to check it out in part because my mom is a librarian and in part because I just got a good vibe from the place. The decor is very nice, lots of wood everywhere, cozy, intimate little atmosphere, very much with the feel of a library. The ownership was there and very friendly, even though I was only briefly visiting as an out of towner they wanted to ensure that I felt welcome and had a good experience. They solicited my opinion on beers and on what sort of foods I would like to see, not that their menu needed any help, but just to cover all bases.
I got some nachos that were very good, very well done and included perfectly grilled chicken, done cleanly, but still piled all with all the usual suspects of a higher end nachos. The beer was fresh and the appropriate temperature. They steered me away a bit, but I got a local brew that they had that I had not previously tried because that's something that I like to do.
I ended up talking about the Thunder with a local that worked for the team and it was pretty fun. There's a small group of regulars that isn't stuck up, too insular or unwilling to welcome new people into the fold, friendly like Cheers, but willing to include others in the whole experience with open arms. I went to a few nice places in OKC, but this one was the most pleasant memory and the place I'd make sure to return to visit if I ever went back."

It made my trip
"I've been remiss in posting a review of this place., but only b/c I'm disorganized, easily distracted, and lazy--but in short, as an out-of-towner, it made my trip and will be the one thing I rave about whenever OKC comes up in conversation.
I stumbled upon this place while in town in March for a convention, and being an east coast city-dweller who loves to check out the downtowns of cities I visit, I didn't go to Bricktown but headed NW from the Renaissance Hotel to grab some lunch. Waaay harder than I thought it would be!! I felt lucky to find a food court on the bottom level of an office building, but @2:30pm on a weekday, everything was closed...EXCEPT the Library. A group of three was leaving just as I arrived, which left just me and the staff. I was warmly welcomed and seated in an extremely comfy booth. I always like to try local beers when traveling, and the bartender steered me to a great local brew , the name of which I sadly can't recall. For foodage I had the BLTG(uacomole), which was fantastic. Sitting in that comfy booth reading a book and enjoying good food and beer was the highlight of my trip.
I hope the Library continues to make it. Every aspect--ambiance, service, food, drink--was absolutely stellar, and it will undoubtedly be my 1st stop should life take me back to OKC."
